When it comes to our patients, surgical care is never one-size-fits-all. Our Dublin veterinarians approach every procedure with precision, safety, and compassion, whether it’s a routine neuter or a more advanced soft tissue surgery. With extensive experience and a team that treats your pet like their own, we’re here to make a potentially stressful experience as smooth and reassuring as possible. From pre-op prep to recovery support, we’re by your side every step of the way.
Sterilization is one of the most impactful health decisions you can make for your pet. Beyond preventing unwanted pregnancies, these procedures can help reduce hormone-driven behaviors and minimize the risk of certain long-term health concerns, including mammary, testicular, and prostate cancer.
We offer a wide range of soft tissue surgeries including mass removals, foreign body retrieval, bladder stone removal, and more. Our capabilities also include advanced procedures like thyroidectomy, enucleation, soft palate resection, and various other surgeries. Whether your pet needs a standard or complex procedure, they’ll receive expert care and close monitoring throughout.
Dental issues can cause serious discomfort, and they often go unnoticed until they’re advanced. If your pet is experiencing loose teeth, oral pain, or advanced periodontal disease, they may need one or more extractions, which our team can perform with care and precision.
We’ll give you detailed instructions ahead of time, but generally, your pet should fast after midnight before surgery. Plan to arrive on time, and bring any questions. Your pet’s pre-op appointment is a great time to talk everything through.
If we determine that your pet needs an orthopedic or highly specialized procedure we don’t perform, we’ll refer you to a trusted local surgeon and stay involved to help coordinate follow-up care.
Not at all. Each pet receives an anesthesia plan tailored to their age, health, and medical history. We take extra precautions for seniors, brachycephalic breeds, and pets with underlying conditions.
Most pets go home the same day, but if your pet needs to stay longer, we’ll keep you updated and can make arrangements for you to visit if needed.
For routine procedures like spays and neuters, most pets bounce back within a week or two. More advanced surgeries may require longer or more structured recovery plans, but we’ll walk you through every step.
