Our wellness visits focus on prevention and early detection. During each exam, we’ll assess your pet’s teeth, weight, skin, and overall condition, checking for subtle signs that something may be off.
Small pets can become ill quickly, often with little warning. From diagnostic testing to targeted treatment plans, our goal is to relieve discomfort and get your companion feeling their best again.
Many small mammal health issues can be prevented with proper diet and habitat care. We’ll guide you on cage setup, safe bedding, appropriate chew toys, temperature control, and species-specific diets.
We see a wide variety of small pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, rats, mice, and gerbils. If you have another species, just give us a call, and we’ll be happy to let you know if we can help.
We recommend at least one annual wellness exam, but certain species, especially older or more delicate ones, may benefit from semiannual checkups.
Watch for decreased appetite, changes in droppings, discharge from the nose or eyes, hair loss, or unusual hiding behavior. These can all indicate that your pet needs prompt care.
Absolutely. We can provide detailed guidance on cage size, ventilation, temperature, bedding materials, and enrichment to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety.
